Dreamness

Dreamness is game that it takes places in 2 dimensions. 

Once you go to bed after a hard day's work, you wake up in a strange dream and quickly realize that this is no ordinary dream; some entity has dragged you here. The entity responsible for pulling you into this realm is known as the Sandman, a powerful God of Sleep who possesses control over dreams and the ability to alter reality.

Your role in the game is to overcome all obstacles and find a way to escape this realm.

The game is a first-person platformer with a touch of narrative storytelling and magical powers intertwined.

The main mechanics of this game is teleportation/blink so to overcome obstacles you have to combine blink with sprint or sometimes just jumping.

 

The game was created for the GameDev Game Jam, and remarkably, it took only seven days to develop. Even more surprising, the game was the product of a sole developer—none other than myself, unexpectedly! :D
